Free Electronic Music Workshop for Young People on 30th November

Seize the opportunity to create your own 'electric storm' inspired by the working methods of electronic pioneer Delia Derbyshire, using found sounds and accessible technology. No previous musical experience necessary. This event is for ages 12+.

Delia Derbyshire Day is a Manchester-based organisation which pays homage to Delia Derbyshire (1937-2001). Their work is centred around the Delia Derbyshire Archive which is held at John Rylands Library in Manchester. This program is part of the British Library's annual celebration of all things audio.
