Objectives of Fund
The Trust offers funding to UK registered charities for a range of general charitable work.
Value Notes
The Trust awards around £300,000 in grants each year.
Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees. Grants tend to be in the range of £5,000 to £10,000.
Who Can Apply
UK registered charities may apply.
Only national bodies can apply. (This funding is not available to local branches of national bodies.)
To be eligible, applicants must have a registered charity number and a bank account in the group's name.

The following are not eligible for funding:
- Individuals
- Local branches of national bodies.
- Organisations that are not registered charities.
Eligible Expenditure
The grants are to be used for general charitable work.

- Bag Books
- Blind in Business
- Combat Stress
- Crisis UK
- Extra Care Charitable Trust
- Home Warmth for the Aged Benevolent Fund
- Hospice UK
- Listening Books
- Mental Health Foundation
- Noah's Ark Children's Hospice
- Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People
- Shine
- The Children's Trust
- The Stroke Association
How To Apply
The Trust does not maintain a website or a standard application form.
The Trust requests that applicants 'make their case in hard copy by post or by e-mail in the manner that they think is best. Their request should show their registered charity number, the name and sort code of their bank and their account number. It will be considered by the Trustees at their next meeting.
No acknowledgements will be sent out to unsuccessful applicants.
The Trustees are unable to enter into correspondence or arrange meetings and will only contact an applicant if their application is successful.
