Caremark - Community Care Fund

Background

The Community Care Fund is a competition run by Caremark Limited, looking for local projects across the UK that will make a real difference. Twelve projects (one from each UK region) are shortlisted and then go head-to-head in a public vote on social media to select three winners.

Objectives of Fund

The fund aims to support local projects that will create a meaningful, lasting impact. Examples include equipment for inclusive sports, revamping a community centre, supplies for a community garden, or new equipment for a pre-school or playground.

Value Notes

Three winning projects will each receive a £3,000 grant.

Who Can Apply

The competition is open to UK-based community groups, charities, not-for-profit organisations, schools, pre-schools, and community-run or local authority-run projects. Applications must be submitted by an individual aged 18 or over on behalf of an eligible project.

Location

United Kingdom. Entries must specify which of the 12 UK regions the project relates to.

Restrictions

Employees of Caremark, Caremark franchise owners, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible. Prizes will only be paid into an organisational/registered not-for-profit bank account, not a personal account.

Eligible Expenditure

The £3,000 grant must be used solely for the project described in the winning application. The fund is not for retrospective expenditure.
