Selco Community Heroes 2026

Background

The Selco Community Heroes campaign runs annually from April to November. It awards building materials to community projects, with a final public vote determining the overall cash prize winners.

Objectives of Fund

The competition is open to any charity, organisation, or group that benefits their local community.

Value Notes

Monthly Prizes:

• 1st place: £2,000 to spend at Selco + a place in the final vote.
• 2nd and 3rd place: £1,000 each to spend at Selco.

Final Vote Cash Prizes (November):

• 1st place: £15,000
• 2nd place: £10,000
• 3rd place: £5,000

Location

United Kingdom (projects must be near a Selco branch to spend the building materials prize).

How To Apply

Entries are submitted via the online form on the Selco website. The competition runs monthly from April to November. Monthly winners are chosen by a judging panel and go through to a final public vote in November.
