Young Person's Education Grant – OneFamily

If you want to help someone aged 15-19 with the cost of their education or training, you can nominate them for a Young Person’s Education Grant, or help support your local community group or a charity by nominating them for a Community Grant.

Don’t forget, you need to be a OneFamily customer with an active policy to apply for a Young Person’s Education Grant or Community Grant.

A little bit of help towards meeting the essential costs of education and training for young people aged 15-19.

The costs of further education and training can be a barrier to many young people and their families. This is why we offer OneFamily customers the opportunity to apply for a Young Person's Education Grant of up to £500 to help meet these costs, when they would otherwise struggle without financial assistance.

A Grant can be used towards the following essential costs:

  • Apprenticeship costs - such as travel and equipment
  • Further education costs - including travel, laptops and books/study materials
  • Other study or work related costs - such as travel, specialist clothing/uniform and skills training

Applications are open throughout the year, and grants are awarded each month following a random computerised draw.
