About Organisation

The Cartesians Academy is a free Supplementary School, initiated by the Camden Community to help children and young people achieve good's education. In 2007 about 25% of young people killed in London were from the British Congolese's families. The Camden Report of 2010/ 2011 highlighted that these children achieved poor GCSE and A-Level grades in Maths, English, Music, Culture, and had reduced accessibility to sports (football), outings, Health resilience in the community after covid-19, etc. As parents, anxious to boost our children, we came together and decided to create this school for the well-being and empowering of our children and put in place parenting skills, helping our community and our children to be successful in what they do i.e., achieve degrees, diplomas, encourage more Congolese engineers, doctors, lawyers, pilots etc. Emphasize hard work, discipline, and commitment, which is our motto to preparing our children to be.
