GOAL Youth Club is a volunteer-led charity which has been working with children and young people in the Queen’s Crescent area of Camden, north London for over two decades. We provide a range of positive and interesting activities several nights a week and during school holidays for youngsters aged 8 to 18. Our programmes include sports, music, advice and guidance, and special initiatives for ‘hard to engage’ young people to help them into training or work. We operate in partnership with Queen’s Crescent Community Association, which provides accommodation and shares staff costs. Our activities are based in our youth centre, our outside sports pitches and The Dome, our state-of-the-art covered sports hall that’s the size of six badminton courts. Our Youth Service programmes have always been focused on young people having a say – they chose the name, The Dome. We share the Dome with Queen’s Crescent Community Association and together we are able to provide youth club activities five nights a week and special holiday programmes.
