About Organisation

Kooth is a free online counselling and emotional well-being support service for children and young people. Young people can be signposted to Kooth or can sign up themselves, so no referral is required. The online counselling is provided by a professional team of qualified counsellors and emotional wellbeing practitioners.

Alongside the counselling, there are other online tools and features they can use, such as a daily journal, mini activities and Kooth magazine, with peer to peer and community elements. All of these are safe, secure, pre moderated and age appropriate.

Kooth is available for all young people aged 11-19 yrs and from 19 to 25 yrs for specific vulnerable cohorts (Young people in care, care leavers, young people with SEND and young people transitioning from YOS).

As Kooth is an online platform it is available 365 days for the year.

Online practitioners are ready to support between:

Monday - Friday 12noon - 10pm, Weekends and Bank Holidays 6pm - 10pm

Note: kooth is not an app, as this is an anonymous service.
