SEASONAL COACH

Do you want to make a positive difference to young peoples’ lives? Do you want to play a vital part in an ever-growing organisation coaching a range of sport-based sessions to a variety of audiences?

Watford FC’s Community Sports and Education Trust deliver over 200 hours of coaching sessions and community activity across a wide range of educational, fun and engaging sport based programmes per week and we are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative and committed sport coaches to join our team to help support this delivery across Hertfordshire and Harrow. We are looking for seasonal staff to work on our half term, evening and weekend sports sessions, the successful candidate must be flexible, approachable and enjoy organising and leading sport sessions for a variety of young people.

The types of sport sessions you will work on include:

• Football holiday course’s (half terms & summer holidays)

• Matchday Packages (weekends)

• Football player development centres (evenings)

• After school sport sessions (late afternoons)

The ideal candidate will have:

• FA Level 1 (or above) in Football Coaching

• FA Safeguarding

• FA First Aid

• A flexible approach

• Ability to engage with a wide variety of young people

• Ability to be adaptable in any situation

Applicants will need have a flexible approach to work. This position is for a casual worker, with hours varying according to assignments.
