A new chapter of Young Ambassadors at YCF!
We visit Camden Town Hall
Our ambassadors went to visit the newly refurbished Camden Town Hall and the Mayor's Chambers. We heard from both the 2023 Mayor of Camden Cllr Nazma Rahman and Labour's Cabinet Member for Young People and Culture, Cllr Sabrina Francis. Our ambassadors had the chance to learn about how local councils function and to find out what the key challenges in Camden currently are.
Advocacy and action workshop with 2-3 Degrees
2-3 Degrees led a thought-provoking workshop on advocacy and action, focusing on how to gain confidence using your voice.
Getting into digital marketing with Dr Martens
We were invited to Dr Marten's officies in Camden in December to learn more about Social Media. We heard from those who work within the Digital Marketing team and how they got into their roles. Our ambassadors then had the chance to create their own Tik-Toks to advertise a pair of Dr Marten boots!
Zine Making with Skindeep education
In this creative session, Joshua from Skindeep Education, looked at the intersection of race and art. Our ambassadors were encouraged to reflect on their identity, and each person took home a zine they had designed.

This Public Speaking Workshop hosted by Speakers Trust taught our ambassadors the best techniques to use when speaking publically, and how to remain calm doing so!
Escape Room!

Our Ambassadors are taught about leadership - what it means to be a leader, and how to see themselves as leaders in the community.
Visit to Musuem of Youth Culture
During this visit we learnt about the basics of archiving, and the different job roles within a Museum setting. The ambassadors designed their own teenage bedroom to represent what life looks like for a young person in Camden in 2025.
World Day of Social Justice Celebration Event
6 of the Ambassadors co-produced an event with the YCF team. They were given a budget to work with, and took the lead in planning, promoting and executing the event!
