The Joron Charitable Trust provides grants to charitable organisations in the UK.
Objectives of Fund
The scheme is intended to support registered charities undertaking charitable projects.
In particular, the scheme wishes to support projects in the fields of education and medical research.
Value Notes
Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees. Last year, the Trust made 21 grants.
Although no funding amounts have been set, most grants tend to be in the range of £5,000 to £10,000 with several larger grants made for exceptional projects.

Match funding is not a stipulated requirement of the scheme.
Who Can Apply
UK registered charities can apply.
Large national charities that are operating nationally are more likely to be considered than smaller local charities.

Individuals are not eligible to apply.
