About Organisation

Hawley Amateur Boxing Club exist to use the sport of boxing to enrich young people’s lives via self-confidence, purpose, and transferable life skills. Community is at the heart of everything we do. We’re here to sweat together, train together and progress as people. Building confidence one punch at a time. Getting knocked down and getting back up again. This is about empowerment - feeling stronger, inside and out. This is about making new friends.

Rachel B.

Rachel is a former amateur national champion who has boxed for England and competed in the USA. She is currently an England Boxing Talent Pathway coach and is on the GB Boxing female coach development programme so regularly coaches the top amateur boxers in the country. Rachel also holds a position on the England Boxing Coaching subcommittee where she is able to influence decisions on coach development, education and best practice. She is also qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and in pre and post natal exercise and is DBS checked, first aid at work certified and safeguarding trained.
