About Organisation

We have over 5 years experience working in Islington, Hackney, Camden, Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich and Lambeth. We have worked with over 4000 young people and families till date especially those from minority and disadvantaged backgrounds. The Sapphire Foundation aims to equip young people to not only be their best version of themselves but also inspire them to have a genuine insight of what they would like to pursue in the near future. Our project looks holistically at the crime rates of young people affected by crime rates. Our project meets the needs of young people who are prone to crime and have been affected by it. The Sapphire Foundation Camden Overview Projects We have been running sessions in Camden and working with Kentish Town Community Centre for 2 to 3 years. In 2018 to 2019 we ran film and theater workshops in Kentish Town Community Centre. We successfully trained 50 young people and created a feature film that they made and ended up showcasing this in Picture House Cinema in 2019. 2019 working with Performing Production we put on an arts and film workshops with British Library to run a summer arts workshop and an art exhibition. 2020 we are currently running mental health provision for young people struggling with mental health issues. We are working with Camden Giving to support 50 young people to provide free counselling and mentoring CBT sessions.
