Finance and Office Administrator

Ignite has an excellent reputation for transformational youth work with at-risk, marginalised and disadvantaged young people living in the borough of Harrow.
Established in 2001, our mission is to engage, empower and transform young people by creating positive communities of change based around their interests and needs.
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to be part of our friendly team, overseeing the financial and office administration of the organisation. The role is office based and the hours of work can be arranged flexibly across the week.
As our Finance and Office Administrator you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of this small but ambitious organisation, working alongside a team of six youth workers and three other admin staff.
Your main responsibilities will include supporting the organisations financial and administrative processes, including reporting to trustees, funders and other stakeholders.
You will have experience of using QuickBooks to manage company accounts, and will have experience in ledger and credit management, reconciliation, cash flow forecast and generating financial reports.
The ability to work independently, in an organised manner, and are passionate about supporting vulnerable young people.
